| | you sound like you're gonna be a good year.
why, you ask? let's see.
this spring semester, i'm taking some awesome classes at Wheatonnn: Recovering Monastic Wisdom (includes a weekend trip to a monastery, w00t.) Transformational Education (which everyone and their mom has been recommending to me,) History of Christian Spirituality (i've decided to minor in Christian Spirituality) and Music Theory II, and I'll probably pick something else up. Maybe. haha.
I'm also continuing with Women's Chorale, I joined it last semester and it's been greattt...oh but- I'm actually having surgery on my vocal chords on January 24th, I guess that's not the most positive thing in the world, but it'll be a lot better after. I have a polyp on my vocal folds which is making singing basically impossible, so this is necessary. it's going to be interesting though, because I'm not allowed to talk for four days following the surgery, haha. After that it'll take about 6 weeks until I'm back to full singing and talking amounts and such. I am planning on playing Lacrosse as well, on the club team. that's been good times. Spring Break plans are still up in the air...I have too many choices and not enough money for most of them, haha. But we'll see...
and thennn...from May to August I will be experiencing Wisconsin in the summertime- I'll be taking classes and then counseloring at HoneyRock, Wheaton's summer camp located in the North Woods of Wisconsin. This is how I'm earning the Youth Ministry Certificate, and I'm really really really really excited about it. God is going to do some pretty sweet things, I think.
Anyways, 2007: you were kind of a rough year, but I learned a lot. Thanks for the hard lessons, even though it kind of sucked a lot of the time. But there was a lot of fun in there, too. I'm glad it all went down the way it did, for the most part.
sweet deal. I'm going to bed. it's mad late.
